In 1987, Chesterfield Louver Company was founded for the purpose of manufacturing wooden louvered vents.

In 1990, Chesterfield Louver Company incorporated and changed it's name to Spec-Trim Mfg. Co., Inc. to better reflect the new products, such as curved mouldings and radius windows, the company was producing to meet the needs of the local builders.

To keep up with the changing demands of the building industry, Spec-Trim continues to remain on the "cutting edge" by developing and offering products, such as PVC windows, moldings and louvers. This ability to produce the products that consumers want and need will define Spec-Trim's future.
